
ABOUT ME
Dr. Civello received his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1994 and his Master of Public Health and Medical Degree in 1999 from Louisiana State University. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University. Following his residency, he completed fellowships in both Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, where he served as Chief Electrophysiology Fellow.
Dr. Civello joined Louisiana Cardiology Associates in 2007 as the fourth electrophysiologist. Along with these physicians, he has spearheaded the development of the Heart Rhythm Center, a division of Louisiana Cardiology Associates which focuses specifically on the comprehensive treatment of electrophysiology-related heart disease.
Dr. Civello is board-certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and Cardiovascular Disease. He was an American College of Cardiology Young Investigator of the Year finalist in 2007.
